Pamela Holmes Murray, b. 1951
Pamela Holmes Murray was born to William and Minnie on October 21,1951, at the Women's Hospital in New York City, New York. She graduated from Madeira School in Greenway, Virginia in 1969. For the next four years, she attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting in 1973.
On June 17, 1972, Pamela married DeFord Smith, III at St. Philip's Cathedral on June 17, 1972 in Atlanta, GA. Pamela had three children: Ashley Michelle Smith, born June 29, 1980; Alison Renee Smith, born February 23, 1983; Jeanette Elizabeth Smit,h born July 22, 1985. In 1988, Pamela was married for the second time to Robert A. Stack.

Leon Dallas Murray (1899-1972)
Leon Dallas Murray was born in 1899 to Dallas Homer Murray and Sally Wagner

James Gadsden Holmes, IV (1881-1942)
James Gadsden Holmes was born in Charleston, South Carolina to Charles Rutledge Holmes and Jeanie McGowan. In 1903, he graduated with a degree in modern literature from University of South Carolina, then South Carolina College. While in school, he was president of the Clauriosophic Society, business editor of The Carolinian (the yearbook), manager of the football team and president of the German Club.
He went to work for the Columbia Stamp and Seal Company. He also worked at a local bookstore run by The State newspaper, where he met his wife. He married Minnie Lee Farmer April 21, 1920. Later, he founded Columbia Office Supply. He was president of the Chamber of Commerce and started the local Community Chest, a philantrophic organization which is now United Way.
He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and was both an able storyteller and a talented bartender who enjoyed making fancy drinks for his friends. He died in Columbia, South Carolina in 1942.
